As we step into a new season, it's so easy to get swept up in the whirlwind of resolutions and big promises we make to ourselves. But in my heart, I feel called to focus on something a little different: realigning and refocusing, rather than just resolving.

Chosen for This: Learning to trust God with the story I didn’t expect.

This blog is a space where I’ll share pieces of my journey, stories of God’s faithfulness, and encouragement for your own walk. My heart has always been to remind others that you are not alone—whether you’re navigating special needs parenting, wrestling with grief, or simply trying to trust God with the unknown.

There are seasons when life leaves us standing in the rubble — surrounded by what used to be, unsure of how to move forward, and utterly unconvinced that anything beautiful could ever possibly rise from the ashes. I’ve lived through more than one of those seasons, and each time, I could not see what God was doing behind the scenes ... And quite honestly, at times, I questioned if He was even there.

So to every mom who’s ever said, “I’ll never…” only to find herself doing exactly that—give yourself grace. You are not failing. You are mothering. One morning of M&M’s for breakfast or a movie marathon when you’re battling the flu isn’t going to ruin your child. These aren’t signs that you’re doing it wrong—they’re reminders that you’re human, that you’re doing your best, and that love sometimes looks like flexibility. Don’t be so hard on yourself.

The gospel is still changing lives, one open heart at a time. And sometimes, your simple yes to God is like a pebble dropped into the water — creating ripples of faith that touch hearts far beyond your view.

No “what if” can undo God’s purpose—our children’s stories are safe in His hands.
